How to use this forum

Here are some instructions on how to use this forum.

How to check all new posts:

*The red box is a quick view of posts that have been made since your last visit, all unanswered posts, and all the posts you have posted. Click the white writing and it will open up all the new posts in this area.

*The yellow box shows all the forum folders in this category, these contain topics with posts in them. Click the white writing that is underlined in yellow and it will open up all the post topics/threads in that folder.

*The purple boxes show how many different posts are in that folder.

*The blue boxes show who posted the last message in this folder and when it was posted.

Once you click on the forum folder (the yellow box from the previous photo) it will open up the area below. This area displays all the topics under this forum category.


*If you click the red box where it says new topic you can post a new topic into this folder category. (See detailed instructions on posting a new topic at the bottom of this message)

*If you click the names of the forum topics which are in the yellow box written in white then it will open that specific forum post so you can view, read and reply to that topic. This is what a folder topic looks like when you open it.


*If you click post reply where the red box is (there is another reply button at the bottom of the forum topic box) this will open a box up for you to post a reply. (Detailed instructions on how to post a reply in the section below this)

*The yellow box at the bottom of the forum topic allows you to view the topic poster's profile, send them an email or private message. Click this and it will redirect you to a message area where you can send messages.

Replying: This is what the reply box looks like.


There are several different things you can do in a reply. You can add media from dailymotion or youtube to your message, add an image, add smilies, or make your message into a poll.

* To add a video to your message click the film strip pointed out in orange.

* To add an image click the image thumbnail which is pointed out in grey.

* To add your reply message simply type it in the red boxed area.

* You can preview the message before posting by clicking preview at the bottom of the message area. It is circled in yellow, there is also the send button in this area. The send button saves your message and posts it publicly.

* To add smilies to your message simply click the smilie to the left of the message box and it will add it to the message.

* To make the message a poll you need to add some info below the options area. This is located below the message box. If this area is closed click the + to open this option. This will display options where you can add different poll choices and add whether you want it to be multiple choice. View the photo below for info on how to make a poll.

Posting a new topic: To post a new topic you can go into one of the folder categories. Example below. Click the white title of the category.

This will open up the sub folder with all the topics in this category. View example below.

Click the red box which is around the new topic button to post a new topic in this category area.When you click it a new area will open up where you can enter a eubject for the post, the message you want in the new topic and you can even make it into a poll if you wish. Below shows what the new topic area looks like.
