I've heard alot about this recently. I seriously doubt that anything will happen that will cause us to all die but I think there will be a change in consciousness. Maybe some sort of change in us that will open our eyes to how we used to be or a shift or some sort. Another of the theories is that we will be more enlightened and see things differently. I guess we just have to wait and see. There is always going to be a date that people think the end of the world will be, the last one was in 2000 during the supposed Millennium bug, once it passes with nothing happening the date will change to another future date. I think if it is going to happen we won't know until its too late. Well that's my opinion. What does everyone else think?
